The European Aviation Conference 2026 (EAC26) will take place in St. Gallen, Switzerland, from 4–6 November 2026. Under the theme “Lift or Drag? Taxes, Subsidies and Sustainable Aviation,” the conference will bring together academics, policymakers, industry representatives and legal practitioners to discuss the role of taxation, public support measures and regulation in the transition towards more sustainable aviation.
The program will feature keynote addresses, expert panel discussions and academic sessions exploring current legal, economic and policy challenges facing the aviation sector. Topics will include aviation taxation, subsidies, climate obligations, sustainable aviation fuels, market-based measures, and the future regulatory landscape for aviation decarbonization.
